TikTok niche finder: rank up to 30 listed creators in a niche by engagement rate.
StoriesFly's TikTok niche finder ranks a fixed list of 300 TikTok handles, 30 in each of 10 niches from fitness to fashion, by engagement rate: the average likes, comments and shares per video over up to 12 recent videos, divided by followers. Signed out you see the top 3 per search, Basic shows up to 10 and Pro up to 30, out of the handles that load. It does not search the rest of TikTok or tell you which niche to post in.

Why a fixed listThe finder does not search TikTok. It ranks a list written into its code, 30 handles for each of 10 niches, 300 in all, and every visitor ranks the same list. A result can therefore be checked against the list, and a creator who is not on it cannot turn up, however well they fit the niche.
Ten niches, thirty handles each, and nobody else
The whole list the finder can rank, read from the same code the search uses.
The numbers one search runs on
Only the rows your plan returns are sent to the browser. Signed out, the response holds at most three creators and nothing else, so there is no blurred remainder waiting behind a paywall.
Rates and profiles are stored for a while and reused for every visitor, so two searches of the same niche on the same day mostly read the same stored numbers. Handles that fail to load are not stored, so they are tried again on every search.

TikTok search finds accounts; this finder ranks a list
Use TikTok's search to find new names. Use the finder to compare known creators in a niche on one measure, with your own follower and engagement minimums.
Reaches public accounts whose name or handle matches what you type. TikTok decides the order.
Reaches only the listed handles and orders them by one formula you can check.
Why a tiny account can come out on top
The rate divides by followers. An account with a few hundred followers and a handful of engaged viewers can score far above a creator with millions, so with no follower minimum the top of a niche can be an account few people have heard of. In a test of the comedy niche in September 2026, the first two results had fewer than 200 followers each. Set a follower minimum to rank established creators only.
Not every listed handle loads. Handles that cannot be fetched through the sources, and private accounts, drop out without a message. The line over the results says how many of the 30 loaded: 16 in the same comedy test.
The rate is only as complete as its source. When the ddtik source supplies the videos, shares read 0. When TikTok's embed page supplies them, likes, comments and shares all read 0, the creator's rate is 0, and that 0 is kept for 24 hours. A creator with no videos also gets 0.
From a niche to ranked cards
In our September 2026 tests a search took 24 to 33 seconds, because up to 30 profiles are fetched when you press the button.
- 01You pick a niche and two minimumsOne of the ten niches, a follower minimum from the presets (any, 10K, 100K, 1M or 10M) and an engagement minimum from 0 to 20% in half-point steps.
- 02All 30 handles of the niche are looked up at onceEach profile comes from a copy under an hour old or a live fetch. Private accounts and handles that cannot be fetched drop out.
- 03Each creator gets a rateA rate under 24 hours old is reused. Otherwise up to 12 recent videos are fetched and their likes, comments and shares averaged against current followers.
- 04Filters, then sortCreators below either minimum are removed. The rest are sorted by rate, highest first, with ties broken by followers.
- 05Your plan's rows come backUp to 3 signed out or on Free, up to 10 on Basic, up to 30 on Pro. Each card links to the creator on tiktok.com.
What the niche finder cannot do
It ranks a known list. Everything below follows from that, or from what TikTok leaves public.
- 01Find creators outside the listOnly the 300 listed handles are ever looked up. Pro can add one extra handle per search; nothing else enters the pool.
- 02Tell you which niche to post inIt ranks existing creators inside a niche you pick. It has no data on which niches grow, pay better or suit your account.
- 03Go beyond ten nichesThe niches are fixed: fitness, food, tech, beauty, comedy, dance, education, gaming, travel and fashion. There are no sub-niches, and any other value is refused.
- 04Rank every listed handleHandles that cannot be loaded, and private accounts, leave the search without a message. The line over the results shows how many of the 30 loaded.
- 05Show audience, prices or contact detailsThe sources carry followers, video counts and public likes, comments, shares and plays. Audience demographics and sponsorship rates are not in the data, and there is no separate contact field; only the bio a creator wrote is shown.
- 06Answer in a few secondsUp to 30 profiles and their videos are fetched per search. In our September 2026 tests that took 24 to 33 seconds.
Before you trust a ranking
Is the TikTok niche finder free?
Yes, with limits. Signed out you get the top 3 creators per search and 5 searches a day per connection. Signing in raises that to 20 searches a day; Basic returns up to 10 creators per search, and Pro up to 30 with no daily cap.
Does it search all of TikTok?
No. It ranks a list of 300 handles written into its code, 30 for each niche. Pro can add one handle of its own per search, and no other account can appear.
Can it tell me which niche to choose for my account?
No. It compares creators already working in a niche you pick. It has no data on how niches grow or what they pay.
How is the engagement rate worked out?
The average likes plus comments plus shares per video, over up to 12 recent videos, divided by the creator's current followers, times 100. Each creator's rate is kept for 24 hours and reused for every visitor.
Why is the top result an account with a few hundred followers?
Because the rate divides by followers, and a small account can post a high rate from a few engaged viewers. Set a follower minimum, such as 100K+, to rank established creators only.
Why did only some of the 30 handles load?
Because handles that cannot be fetched, and private accounts, are dropped without notice. The line over the results shows how many loaded; in a September 2026 test of the comedy niche it was 16 of 30.
Why does a search take so long?
About half a minute, because up to 30 profiles and their videos are fetched when you press the button. Handles that fail are not stored, so they are tried again on every search.
