Tool — Repost viewer

Instagram repost viewer: see what a public account reposted.

StoriesFly's repost viewer shows the Reposts tab of a public Instagram profile, the posts and reels from other accounts that it reposted, once you sign in for free with Telegram, Google or email: the free plan opens one profile a day and its first 12 reposts, Basic 10 profiles and Pro 50 a day with up to 120 reposts each, and private profiles stay closed. Tiles name the account that first posted each one when the source credits it, and every tile opens here with a link to the original on Instagram.

Free once you sign in: one profile a day, its first 12 reposts.

Pages of 12The tab is read one page at a time, and a page is 12 reposts. On Basic and Pro, Show more loads the next page while the tab has one, up to ten pages of one profile a day; after that the section says it has shown all it can for that profile. On the free plan, when the tab holds more than 12, the upgrade offer takes the place of Show more.

How to see someone's reposts on Instagram

Instagram added reposts on 6 August 2025. You can repost a public reel or feed post, the repost stays credited to the person who first posted it, and your reposts are collected in a separate tab on your profile. So to see what someone reposted, open their profile in the app and switch to that Reposts tab.

A private account shows its posts, reels and Reposts tab only to followers it has approved. In the app you have to follow the account and be accepted first. This page gets no further: its sources are refused a private tab the same way a stranger is.

What this page adds is a way to read a public tab without an Instagram account. Type the handle above, sign in to StoriesFly with Telegram, Google or email, and the tab comes back as a grid in your browser. No Instagram account of yours is used at any point.

02Daily allowance

Profiles and reposts per plan, per UTC day

A profile counts once a day, whether its grid came from a new read or from a saved copy, and opening it again the same day costs nothing. Only a profile you have not opened today takes a new slot.

The limits follow a paid Basic or Pro subscription. A free trial gets the free plan's numbers here: one profile and its first 12 reposts a day.

The grid may come from a saved copy: up to 7 days old on the free plan, up to 24 hours old on Basic and Pro. A copy older than that is read again. Only when every source fails is a copy up to 7 days old shown on any plan, with a line saying when it was saved.

03Behind the button

From a typed handle to a grid of reposts

Nothing is read until you press the button, and one press is one request.

  1. 01The input becomes a usernameA leading @ or a pasted profile link is trimmed to the bare username. A post or reel link names no profile and is turned away here, as is anything that is not a valid Instagram username.
  2. 02Your sign-in is checkedWithout a StoriesFly session the grid stays closed and the sign-in opens: Telegram, Google or email. Once you are in, the same request runs again by itself.
  3. 03Today's allowance is checkedThe profile takes one of your slots for the UTC day before anything is read. The slot is given back only if every source fails and there is nothing to show.
  4. 04A saved copy or a new readA copy recent enough for your plan is shown as it is. Otherwise StoriesFly reads the tab through its data sources, and if every one of them fails, a copy up to 7 days old is shown with a line saying when it was saved.
  5. 05The grid opensUp to 12 tiles, each marked with the account that first posted it when the source names one. Tap one to play the video or see the photo; on Basic and Pro, Show more adds the next page.
04Repost or story share

Two ways to pass a post on, and the one this page reads

So a post someone shared to their story a few days ago will not be in their reposts. Unless they saved that story to a highlight, it is no longer public.

What each repost shows you

Every tile is a post or reel from someone else's account. The profile you typed is only the one that reposted it.

What the grid cannot show you

The private tab is Instagram's rule. Dates and order depend on the sources, and the rest is how this page is built.

  • 01A private account's tabA private tab is served only to approved followers, and the sources are refused it like any stranger, so the grid comes back empty. A handle Instagram does not have, or an account already known to be private, does not use one of today's profiles; an account whose privacy the sources do not report can still use one. Check the spelling and that the account is public first.
  • 02When something was repostedThe grid has no repost dates, and the tiles come in whatever order the source sends them, so do not read them as a timeline. The original post's date appears in the viewer only when the answering source includes it, and the main source never does.
  • 03Every photo of a carouselA carousel shows its first photo only. The others are one tap away through Open on Instagram.
  • 04DownloadsThere is no save button for reposts. Open on Instagram takes you to the original post.
  • 05New and removed repostsNothing alerts you when a new repost appears, and removed reposts are not kept. A saved copy can be up to 7 days old on the free plan and 24 hours on Basic and Pro, or up to 7 days on any plan when every source fails, with a note saying when it was saved. So a very recent change may not show yet.
  • 06Story sharesA post shared into a story is not a repost and does not appear in this tab.

Questions about reposts

Can I view someone's Instagram reposts anonymously?

Yes, without your Instagram account. StoriesFly's data sources read the tab, and you sign in to StoriesFly with Telegram, Google or email, never with Instagram. Instagram gives a profile no list of who looked at its Reposts tab.

Can I see the reposts of a private account?

No. A private account's tab is shown only to followers it approved, and the sources this page uses are refused it. In the Instagram app you would have to follow the account and be accepted.

Why does the free plan show only 12 reposts?

12 is one page of the tab, and the free plan reads one page of one profile a day. Each new page is read from a source that is rate-limited or paid for, so more pages come with Basic (10 profiles a day) and Pro (50), up to 120 reposts per profile.

Does it show when something was reposted?

No. The main source sends no dates, and the tiles are not guaranteed to be in time order. The original post's date appears only when the source that answered includes it.

Can I download a repost?

No. The reposts grid has no download button. Tap Open on Instagram to go to the original post.

Is this the same as seeing who reposted my post?

No. This page reads what one profile reposted from other accounts. It does not list the accounts that reposted a particular post, yours included.

Does opening the same profile again use up my limit?

No. A profile you already opened today opens again at no cost until 00:00 UTC, even when the grid comes from a saved copy; only a new profile takes a new slot. On Basic and Pro, each Show more still counts toward that profile's ten pages for the day, pages you loaded before included.
