Who sees youNo one. Nothing signs in to Snapchat, so you don't appear in the story's viewers and the person gets no notification. A friends-only story is never visible here.
A public profile's current story, snap by snap
Snapchat lets creators, brands and public figures run a Public Profile. Its story is open to anyone on the web, without the app. This page reads that public profile and lays the story out as a list: every snap is a photo or a video with its own download button, newest first, up to the latest 30.
You can type just the username (nba), or paste any of the usual profile links: snapchat.com/add/nba, snapchat.com/@nba or story.snapchat.com/s/nba. A Spotlight link, snapchat.com/spotlight/<id>, opens that one Spotlight video instead, ready to download.
Because no Snapchat account is used, there is no one for Snapchat to put in the viewers list and nobody to notify. You also don't need to install the app or be friends with the person.
What you can't see: a private story shown to friends only. It never reaches the public web, so no viewer outside the friends list can open it, this one included. Saved highlights on a profile are not shown by this tool yet either, only the live story and Spotlight.
On 26 October 2026 the @nba profile had 68 snaps live; a typical video snap was 9 seconds long, 480×852 and 0.9 MB. @kyliejenner had 252. The page shows the 30 most recent of them.
The files come straight from Snapchat's own servers to your browser, never through ours. The tool is free.
On a phone it is often handier to use our Telegram bot: send it the profile or Spotlight link and the files arrive right in the chat. StoriesFly also has tools for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, VK, Pinterest, Threads, X, Facebook and Telegram stories.
What we measured and what the page shows
A snap stays in a story for 24 hours, then Snapchat removes it. If a snap has disappeared from the profile, it has disappeared here too.
Large profiles post far more than 30 snaps a day: @nba had 68 live, @kyliejenner 252. The page shows the 30 newest; older ones from the same day are not listed.

How to view a Snapchat story anonymously
Three steps, no sign-up.
- 01Enter a username or linkType the username, like nba, or paste a profile link: snapchat.com/add/nba, snapchat.com/@nba or story.snapchat.com/s/nba. For a Spotlight video, paste its snapchat.com/spotlight/ link.
- 02The public profile is readThe page reads the profile's public web page. No Snapchat account is involved on your side, so the person is not notified.
- 03Watch or downloadThe snaps appear newest first, up to 30, each with a download button. Photos save as JPG, videos as MP4. In Telegram, send the same link to our bot and the files come to the chat.
In Snapchat your account opens the story; here nobody's does
That holds for the stories and Spotlight videos you open here.
The account that watches a story shows up among its viewers.
No Snapchat account of yours opens anything, so you are not among the viewers and no notification is sent.
The point of this page
Public Snapchat stories, without an account and without being seen.
What the Snapchat story viewer cannot show
Most of these come from Snapchat and from the profile's settings.
- 01Private and friends-only storiesA story shown to friends only is not on the public web. Nobody outside the friends list can see it, and neither can this page.
- 02Profiles without a Public ProfileOrdinary personal accounts usually have no public story. The viewer works with creators, brands and public figures.
- 03Expired snapsA snap lives 24 hours. Once Snapchat removes it, it is gone here too.
- 04Only the latest 30Profiles that post a lot can have more than 30 snaps live. The page shows the 30 newest.
- 05Saved highlightsSaved and curated stories on a profile are not shown yet: only the live story and Spotlight videos.
Snapchat stories, answered
How can I view a Snapchat story without them knowing?
Type their username or paste their profile link here. No Snapchat account is used, so you don't appear among the viewers and the person gets no notification. This works for public profiles.
Do I need a Snapchat account or the app?
No. The page asks only for a username or a link. It works in any browser, on a phone or a computer.
How do I download Snapchat Spotlight videos?
Copy the Spotlight link (snapchat.com/spotlight/…) from the app or the website, paste it in the field, and press the download button under the video.
Can I view a private Snapchat story?
No. A friends-only story is not published on the web, so no outside viewer can open it. Any site that promises private stories is not telling the truth.
Can I download Snapchat stories to my iPhone or Android?
Yes. Each snap has a download button: videos save as MP4, photos as JPG. On a phone it is often easier to send the link to our Telegram bot; the files arrive in the chat and you can save them from there.
How long do Snapchat stories last? Can I see old ones?
A snap stays up for 24 hours. After Snapchat removes it, it can't be opened here. Saved highlights are not shown by this tool yet.
Will the person see that I downloaded their story?
No. Downloading happens in your browser, straight from Snapchat's servers, and no account of yours is involved.
Can I search by profile link as well as username?
Yes. Plain usernames work, and so do snapchat.com/add/…, snapchat.com/@… and story.snapchat.com/s/… links.
Why do I see no snaps?
Either the profile has nothing posted in the last 24 hours, it is not a Public Profile, or its story is for friends only. Check the spelling of the username too.
