## What is the best Telegram bot for Instagram?

If you want one bot that shows stories, downloads reels and can alert you about an account, our pick is StoriesFly ([@instanavy_bot](https://t.me/instanavy_bot?start=web_blog)). If you only want every current story dropped straight into the chat for free, Dumpor (@dumpor_viewer_bot) did that best in our test. For pasting a link and getting stories or a reel back, @instagram_load_bot did it fast and for free.

A disclosure up front: we make StoriesFly and its bot, and we put it first. That is why the rest of this article is test data rather than opinion. We checked every bot below by hand on 28 September 2026, using the same inputs for each. Bots change often, so every result here is tied to that date.

## Quick picks

- **Best all-in-one (view, download, alerts):** StoriesFly, @instanavy_bot. This is our own bot.
- **All stories straight in the chat, free:** Dumpor, @dumpor_viewer_bot. @IGSpyBot also does it, more slowly.
- **Paste a link, get stories or a reel fast:** @instagram_load_bot.
- **If you also need VK (VKontakte):** SpyIG, @InstaAnonymBot.
- **Reels from Instagram plus TikTok, Pinterest and Threads:** Save As Bot, @SaveAsBot. Expect ad buttons after every download.

## 1. StoriesFly (@instanavy_bot): best all-in-one bot for stories, downloads and alerts

This is our bot. In Telegram search its display name is "StoryViewer - anonymous instagram story viewer tool", so the easiest way to find it is to search for the handle @instanavy_bot. Telegram showed 13,914 monthly users on 28 September 2026.

Send it a username such as `natgeo` and it replies in the chat with that profile's newest story (photo or video) and three buttons: "All N stories", "Track @user" and "Highlights". The buttons open the full profile inside Telegram, in the bot's Mini App, with all current stories, highlights and posts. In our live check on 28 September 2026 the preview arrived within about 10 seconds.

Send it a post or reel link and it sends the video or photo itself into the chat, with buttons to the author's profile and the tracker. The natgeo reel arrived as a video within about 10 seconds. Reel and post files sent to the chat are free and do not count against the daily download allowance. There is a limit on sending a lot of links in a short burst.

What else to know:

- **No hoops.** No forced channel subscription, no user agreement to accept first, and it never asks for your Instagram login. Your Instagram account is not involved, so it cannot show up in a story's viewer list, and StoriesFly does not mark stories as seen. Stories come through StoriesFly's servers and data providers.
- **Free plan.** 50 in-chat story previews a day. In the app: 10 story views, 50 downloads and 5 highlight views a day. No payment details needed.
- **Tracker (paid).** Telegram alerts about new stories and about follower and following changes, including the names of new followers, unfollowers and new follows. Basic tracks 1 account, Pro tracks 5. Checks run on a schedule, so alerts are not immediate.
- **Prices.** Basic from $4.99/month or 250 Telegram Stars/month; Pro from $19.99/month or 1,000 Stars/month, with regional discounts. You can pay with Telegram Stars, a Visa or Mastercard card (via Tribute, inside Telegram), crypto or TON. See [pricing](/pricing).
- **Works everywhere in Telegram.** The Mini App opens in the Telegram apps and in Telegram Web in a browser (checked 28 September 2026). The app is in 20 languages, and the bot answers usernames and links in your language (13 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Indonesian).

The honest minuses: in the chat itself you only get the newest story, and the rest open in the Mini App, where they count toward the free daily views. The tracker is paid. The welcome message and menus are in English. And it works with public accounts only.

You can also use the same tools on the web: the [story viewer](/instagram-story-viewer), the [reels downloader](/instagram-reels-download) and the [unfollowers tracker](/instagram-unfollowers-tracker).

## 2. Dumpor (@dumpor_viewer_bot): best for getting all stories right in the chat

Dumpor Story Viewer had 70,833 monthly users on 28 September 2026. Send a username and it asks "Show / Search", then returns a profile card. That card took about a minute. After that, the stories were quick: both natgeo stories arrived in the chat within seconds, free, each with its publish time.

A reel link came back in under 10 seconds, captioned "Saved via @dumpor_viewer_bot". The bot has a language picker with 40 languages.

It is freemium. You get a limited number of free requests. Premium adds unlimited requests and unlimited "subscribe to new stories", and a free trial is offered.

One thing to be aware of. The dumpor.io website says the service is free ("$0 forever", no "pro" tier) and that Followers and Following are available in the Telegram bot. In the bot on 28 September 2026, tapping "Followers" and "Following" on a profile card returned a message that the option is available only with a Premium subscription.

## 3. @instagram_load_bot: best for links, stories and reels, fast and free

This bot had 104,707 monthly users on 28 September 2026. It does not accept a username; it wants a link. That is its only real drawback in our test.

With the stories link `instagram.com/stories/natgeo/` the stories arrived in the chat in under 10 seconds, free. With a reel link it sent the video plus a separate MP4 file (4.4 MB), which is handy if you want the original file.

It also advertises its own command-line tool, "insto", in the chat.

## 4. SpyIG (@InstaAnonymBot): the one that also does VK stories

SpyIG, titled "Анонимный просмотр Instagram & ВКонтакте" in Telegram and also reachable as @spyig, had 92,153 monthly users on 28 September 2026. It is the only bot in this test that also handles VK (VKontakte) stories and clips.

Before it does anything, you have to accept its user agreement and privacy policy. A plain username gets the reply "send a full link", with examples like instagram.com/natgeo or vk.ru/natgeo.

- **Profile link:** a profile card in about 10 seconds.
- **"View stories":** both natgeo stories arrived in the chat in about a minute, free, with the date, location and mentions.
- **Reel link:** about 20 seconds, with like and comment counts.

It warns that its website may need a VPN. It offers tracking of new stories and posts as a paid subscription. Its website lists weekly, longer and lifetime plans priced in rubles; we read those prices on the site and did not check them in the bot.

## 5. @IGSpyBot: free stories, but slower

@IGSpyBot, called "инста-шпион", hides its monthly user count. A username brings up an action menu. Stories were free: after about a minute, with an "added to the queue" message in between, both natgeo stories arrived as an album.

It also offers "subscribe to @natgeo" to get new stories automatically. We did not test reels with this bot.

## 6. Save As Bot (@SaveAsBot): best known for reels, not a stories bot

Save As Bot is by far the biggest bot in this list, with 4,007,912 monthly users on 28 September 2026. It is built for downloads by link, and that shows.

- **Username:** "link not supported".
- **Stories link:** no reply at all after more than a minute.
- **Reel link:** the video arrived in under a minute, with its caption.

After each download it posts a "bonus for your download — choose your gift" message with 9 to 12 advertising buttons. Besides Instagram, it saves from Threads, Pinterest and TikTok. YouTube is not supported.

## 7. Instant Saver (@instasavegrambot): fast reels, stories only with premium

Instant Saver had 817,469 monthly users on 28 September 2026. A reel link came back in seconds, which makes it a solid reel downloader.

A username only returns the avatar and bio. Stories and highlights reply "only with premium". Premium is sold in Telegram Stars: 50 Stars for 3 days, 250 Stars for 30 days, or 1,500 Stars for a year. The free version shows ads.

## 8. InstAgent (@instagent_bot): detailed profile card, but gated

InstAgent ("ИнстАгент") had 89,003 monthly users on 28 September 2026. Send a username and you get a detailed profile card. Stories and Feed buttons are free; Highlights, Reels, Reposts, Mentions and Tracking are locked.

Tapping Stories returned "to use the bot, subscribe to the channel", so it requires a channel subscription first. A reel link returned "your free access is over". That may be because our test account had used this bot before. It then offered Premium and Standard plans priced in rubles. Standard includes automatic notifications for 1 account.

## 9. Regram (@Regrambot): very detailed profile card, but downloads need premium

Regram had 25,238 monthly users on 28 September 2026. Its profile card is one of the most detailed we saw. Stories open in its own Mini App, which we did not test, because we did not open any third-party Mini Apps.

A reel link returned "download by link only with premium". The bot asks you to connect your Instagram account with /connect, and its free "direct download" works by sending posts to its Instagram account. Connecting your own Instagram account to a third-party bot is a risk we avoid, and we would not recommend it.

## 10. GetStories (@GetStoriesBOT): stories are paid

GetStories ("GetStories ИнстаШпион") hides its monthly user count. A username works, but tapping stories returned "the free stories service is no longer available to you". As with InstAgent, that may be because our account had used it before.

The price shown was 165 Stars (crossed out from 330), plus an unlimited plan for 399 ₽, with the first 7 days for 1 ruble. The bot also sends unsolicited promotional messages.

One more name you may see: @Anonym_insta_bot buys Telegram search ads, so it often shows at the top of search marked "Ad". We did not test it.

## How we tested these Telegram bots

- **Date and setup:** 28 September 2026, Telegram Web (web.telegram.org) in Chrome on a desktop computer, from one ordinary Telegram account.
- **Same inputs for every bot:** `/start`; the username `natgeo` (National Geographic, which had 2 live stories at the time); the stories link `instagram.com/stories/natgeo/`; and a link to a public natgeo reel.
- **What we did not do:** we paid nothing, joined no channels, connected no Instagram account and opened no third-party Mini Apps. The one exception to "accept nothing" was SpyIG, whose user agreement had to be accepted before it would respond.
- **Monthly users:** the number Telegram itself shows on each bot's page, on 28 September 2026.

A caveat worth stating: this account had used several of these bots before (Save As Bot, InstAgent, Regram, GetStories, Dumpor and ours). So a "your free access is over" reply may come from that earlier use, and a brand-new user might get more for free.

## How to pick a safe Telegram bot for Instagram

- **Never give a bot your Instagram password, and don't "connect" your Instagram account to it.** A story viewer has no need for your login.
- **Watch for forced channel subscriptions and agreements you must accept before anything works.** Read what you are agreeing to.
- **A flood of ad buttons after each download** is a sign the bot is paid for by advertising.
- **Ignore anyone promising private accounts' stories.** It doesn't work that way: a private account's stories are visible only to followers the owner has approved.
- **Check the price and period before paying with Stars.** Telegram Stars payments are not easy to refund.

## FAQ

### Is Dumpor free?

Partly. On 28 September 2026 the Dumpor bot showed stories for free, but it gives a limited number of free requests, and Premium adds unlimited requests and story subscriptions. The Followers and Following buttons in the bot replied that they need Premium, even though the dumpor.io website describes the service as free.

### Can a Telegram bot show a private account's stories?

No. A private account's stories are visible only to followers the owner has approved, so a bot that promises otherwise is not telling you the truth. StoriesFly works with public accounts only, and every test in this article used a public account.

### Will the person see that I watched their story?

With StoriesFly, your Instagram account is not involved, so it cannot appear in the story's viewer list, and StoriesFly does not mark stories as seen. We did not check how the other bots fetch stories, but a bot that needs you to connect your own Instagram account is a different matter.

### Which Telegram bot downloads Instagram reels for free?

In our test on 28 September 2026, StoriesFly, Dumpor, @instagram_load_bot, SpyIG, Save As Bot and Instant Saver all returned the natgeo reel for free. @instagram_load_bot also sent a separate MP4 file, and StoriesFly doesn't count reels sent to the chat against its daily download allowance.

### Why doesn't Save As Bot download Instagram stories?

In our test it didn't reply at all to a stories link after more than a minute, and it answered a username with "link not supported". It works well for reels; for stories, Dumpor, @instagram_load_bot or [@instanavy_bot](https://t.me/instanavy_bot?start=web_blog) did the job.

### How do I find the StoriesFly bot in Telegram?

Search for the handle @instanavy_bot rather than the name. Its display name in Telegram search is "StoryViewer - anonymous instagram story viewer tool". To see how the bot and its Mini App fit together, read our overview of [Telegram Mini Apps for Instagram](/blog/telegram-mini-apps-instagram-tools).
